JAKARTA – Saudi Arabia’s stock market ended Thursday’s trading session in negative territory, with the Tadawul All Share index declining 0.09% as losses in the Petrochemicals, Energy & Utilities, and Building & Construction sectors weighed on overall market performance.

Market Performance Overview

Declining stocks significantly outnumbered gainers on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, with 203 stocks falling compared to 107 advancing, while 31 remained unchanged.

Top Performers

Several stocks bucked the downward trend and posted strong gains:

Shatirah House Restaurant Co (TADAWUL:6016) led the session’s winners, climbing 6.67% to close at 16.32, adding 1.02 points.

Flynas Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4264) advanced 3.68%, gaining 2.50 points to finish at 70.50.

Saudi Awwal Bank SJSC (TADAWUL:1060) increased 2.62%, rising 0.84 points to end trading at 32.94.

Worst Performers

On the losing side, several stocks experienced notable declines:

Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6040) suffered the session’s steepest loss, dropping 5.68% to close at 8.14, marking a five-year low for the stock.

Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) fell 5.35%, losing 0.65 points to end at 11.50.

Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012) declined 4.10%, shedding 1.12 points to close at 26.22, reaching an all-time low.

Commodities and Currency Markets

In commodities trading, crude oil for January delivery decreased 1.11% to $57.81 per barrel, while Brent oil for February delivery fell 1.08% to $61.54 per barrel.

Gold futures for February showed resilience, rising 0.53% to trade at $4,246.90 per troy ounce.

In currency markets, EUR/SAR gained 0.18% to 4.40, while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 3.75. The US Dollar Index Futures declined 0.31% to 98.46.
