JAKARTA – Offshore fabrication specialist Lamprell has significantly bolstered its presence in Saudi Arabia after winning four major engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contracts for offshore projects throughout 2025.

Comprehensive Project Scope

The quartet of contracts encompasses a wide range of offshore activities, including deployment of new platform structures, subsea infrastructure installation, pipeline and cable laying, existing platform enhancements, trenching operations, and complete hook-up and commissioning services.

Strategic Growth Milestone

Ian Prescott, Lamprell’s Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the significance of these contract wins for the company’s regional expansion strategy. He noted that the awards demonstrate substantial progress in developing the company’s internal marine contracting expertise and enhancing its operational footprint throughout the region, while enabling Lamprell to undertake more sophisticated offshore projects.

Building on Existing Partnership

The new contracts build upon Lamprell’s established relationship with major Saudi Arabian energy companies. Earlier in April 2025, the company secured an extension to its multi-year framework agreement with Aramco, Saudi Arabia’s national energy giant. This long-term agreement extension reinforces a strategic partnership that dates back to 2018, further cementing Lamprell’s position as a trusted offshore contractor in the Kingdom.

The contract wins underscore the growing demand for offshore infrastructure development in Saudi Arabia and Lamprell’s ability to capitalize on opportunities in this expanding market.
