Mamat Salamet Burhanudin, Deputy for Halal Registration and Certification at Indonesia’s Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH), delivered keynote remarks at the Food Ingredients Asia (Fi Asia) and Vitafoods Asia 2025 international seminar. The event, held from September 16-18, 2025, at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), served as a platform for Indonesia to showcase its halal leadership vision.<\/p>\n

“Halal standards are intrinsically linked to health considerations, hygiene protocols, food safety measures, nutritional requirements, dietary needs, food security concerns, and even genetic engineering of food ingredients. This urgency demonstrates that halal is increasingly recognized as a crucial factor in global industrial and trade sectors,” Burhanudin stated during his presentation on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.<\/p>\n
