“All such seizures are completely disposed of to prevent these goods from entering the market and being sold to Muslim consumers, given their doubtful halal status,” Dr. Kitingan stated during his address at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, responding directly to concerns raised by Sarifuddin Hata (Warisan–Merotai) about seized frozen meat reported in media coverage.
