Kawaguchiko, Japan – Hurayra Halal Pet Foods, the UK’s pioneering halal pet food brand, has announced a significant partnership with international humanitarian charity One Nation to launch their joint “Meals and Paws” charity appeal. This innovative initiative, launched during Ramadan, aims to provide essential food supplies to both vulnerable communities and stray animals in regions experiencing hardship and conflict, with a particular focus on Gaza.

Addressing Food Insecurity and Animal Welfare

The dual-purpose campaign addresses both human food insecurity and animal welfare challenges that have been exacerbated by ongoing crises. Food packages will be distributed directly to those in need, embodying the spirit of compassion central to both organizations’ missions.

Founder’s Vision

Ahitsham Rashid, founder of Hurayra Halal Pet Foods, shared his enthusiasm about the partnership: “As we prepare to launch our groundbreaking product in the UK in the next few months, we wanted to do what we can to support good causes and people and pets in need. Pioneering Halal Pet Nutrition

Hurayra is positioned as the world’s first pet food certified by the Halal Monitoring Committee (HMC), created to meet both the dietary and ethical standards of Muslim and non-Muslim pet owners alike. Their debut product is scheduled to launch in May 2025, with pre-registrations already open for interested customers.
