JAKARTA – Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, made a prominent visit to the Russia Halal Expo exhibition, highlighting Turkmenistan’s strategic focus on the global halal economy and international partnerships. The expo was a key component of the XV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2024.”

The displays emphasized the country’s advanced infrastructure for air and multimodal cargo transportation, capitalizing on its favorable geographic position to connect major markets.

The participation at the Russia Halal Expo signals Turkmenistan’s intent to actively engage with the growing global halal market. By presenting its capabilities in halal-compliant food production alongside its logistical advantages, the country positions itself as a serious potential partner for nations within the Islamic world and beyond, seeking reliable supply chains and investment opportunities.
