Kyoto, Japan – Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce is actively encouraging local entrepreneurs and businesses to participate in the upcoming “Halal Expo 2025 and the 11th World Halal Summit 2025,” which will take place from November 26-29, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Centre in Turkey.

According to a statement released by the ministry, this international exhibition represents a significant opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations between Cambodia and Turkey while advancing economic cooperation in the growing halal sector.

“This premier event will establish a formal platform for partnerships, agreements, and strategic idea exchange, further enhancing its importance within the global halal economy,” the ministry stated.

The exhibition offers Cambodian businesses a valuable chance to display innovations, products, and services related to the halal industry on an international stage, potentially opening new export markets and business connections.

The “Halal Expo 2025 and the 11th World Halal Summit 2025” is recognized as one of the largest gatherings in the halal industry worldwide, serving as a crucial platform for determining new market strategies and enabling industry experts to exchange valuable knowledge and experiences.

This announcement comes as Cambodia continues to expand its international trade presence, following other recent developments including Cambodia’s preparation for Expo 2025 Osaka and Commerce Minister Bora’s inspection of the Cambodian Pavilion at World Expo 2025 in Japan last month.

The ministry views participation in such international exhibitions as critical to showcasing Cambodian products to global markets and building the country’s export capabilities, particularly in the rapidly growing halal sector which represents significant potential for Cambodian agricultural and manufactured goods.
