HASAN.VC Holds Demo Day 2025: Collaboration Platform for 50 Halal Startups from 11 Countries

JAKARTA – The Islamic value-based entrepreneurship ecosystem recorded a significant achievement through the Demo Day 2025 organized by HASAN.VC. The event, held at Khazanah Auditorium, Asia School of Business, Malaysia, showcased the largest Halal Startup Showcase in the regional area.

This occasion also marked the graduation of Cohort 003, which had completed an intensive five-week accelerator program. Nearly 50 startups from 11 countries participated, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Bangladesh, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

Global Halal Innovation Catalyst

This showcase became the most diverse in HASAN.VC’s history, positioning the organization as a key catalyst in driving halal and ethical innovation at the global level. The event series included pitching sessions, panel discussions, and business networking that brought together investors, startup founders, and key figures in the global halal tech ecosystem.

Mohd Akhtaar, General Partner and Head of Accelerator at HASAN.VC, stated that a new generation of company founders is emerging who build businesses with noble purposes. “They solve real problems by prioritizing integrity and innovation. Launch of Fund Round 3

This moment also marked the official opening of HASAN.VC Fund Round 3, providing opportunities for global investors to contribute to supporting startups in the halal and ethical sectors. This funding round affirms HASAN.VC’s dedication to combining financial achievements with substantial social impact.

Umar Munshi, Managing Partner of HASAN.VC, conveyed that the growth of the halal and ethical technology sector is just entering its early phase. “Through the opening of the third funding round, we want to expand collaboration and impact at the global level. Our focus is to find scalable startups with halal and ethical values to accelerate equitable economic growth,” he explained.

Demo Day brought together angel investors, venture capitalists, and corporate leaders who share a common vision: ethical businesses can generate profits while providing social value. Since launching its accelerator program, HASAN.VC has provided support to more than 120 startups across various countries. Over 20 startups have received direct funding, with a founder community now reaching nearly 200 people.
