Prabowo Receives Call from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman
JAKARTA – Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had a telephone conversation with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Tuesday (December 9, 2025), according to Arab News reports.
The discussion between the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring ways to enhance cooperation between their nations.
At the time of the call, President Prabowo was on an overseas tour in Islamabad, Pakistan, where he held meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, and Chief of Defence Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
Following his Pakistan visit, the Indonesian leader continued his diplomatic tour to Moscow, Russia on Wednesday (December 10, 2025). During his meeting with President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin Palace, topics included an invitation for Putin to visit Indonesia and discussions on nuclear energy development.
