Three-Day Event Spotlights Sector’s Socio-Economic Impact, Sustainable Development Role

Jakarta – Beyond Profit, the first international non-profit forum, will be held in Riyadh from December 3 to 5 to highlight the sector’s socio-economic impact, according to the National Center for Non-Profit Sector (NCNP).

The forum will discuss the future of the non-profit sector with its role in sustainable development while increasing social, economic impact at local, international levels, the center said in a Wednesday statement.

80+ Global Speakers to Address Sector’s Present, Future Challenges

The event, organized by NCNP, supported by the Saudi Conventions, Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA), will serve as a global platform bringing together leaders, decision-makers, experts, social impact pioneers from around the world.

More than 80 speakers from various specialties, sectors will take part, including prominent regional, international figures. The program includes panel discussions on issues shaping the sector’s present with future.

Sessions will cover compliance with transparency, effective altruism approaches, the role of artificial intelligence in advancing mission innovation. The forum will also offer specialized workshops aimed at enhancing professional expertise while improving institutional practices.

Four Thematic Pillars Structure Forum Content

The event consists of four themes. The first focuses on governance with community innovation as foundations for effective partnerships that strengthen humanitarian work in the non-profit sector.

The second highlights workforce resilience with well-being by nurturing future leaders through skill development, innovation, volunteering, professional engagement to maximize social impact.

The third theme explores resource mobilization through innovative partnerships with the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence to improve organizational performance.

The fourth underscores the importance of partnerships between government with the non-profit sector to achieve sustainability by aligning priorities, coordinating mechanisms, localizing aid to meet community needs.

Kingdom Positions Itself as Global Innovation, Impact Hub

The forum reflects Saudi Arabia’s effort to position itself as a global hub for innovation with impact in the development, social sectors. It also highlights the country’s commitment to strengthening the non-profit sector as a driver of future growth through modern strategies, innovative financing, strategic alliances aligned with global trends.
