Riyadh Hosts Three-Day Egyptian Cultural Festival Celebrating Shared Heritage

JAKARTA — The Egyptian Cultural Days festival kicked off on Saturday at Al-Suwaidi Park in Riyadh, marking another milestone in the “Global Harmony 2” initiative, a key component of the Quality of Life Program under Vision 2030. The Ministry of Media is spearheading the event in partnership with the General Entertainment Authority, creating a platform for cultural exchange and community engagement.

The three-day festivities attracted substantial crowds, including members of the Egyptian expatriate community alongside Saudi citizens and residents of various nationalities.

Immersive Cultural Experience

Attendees delved into Egypt’s rich cultural legacy while participating in numerous artistic and interactive programs. The celebration transformed Al-Suwaidi Park into a vibrant hub, embodying the principles of diversity and cross-cultural dialogue.

The inaugural evening showcased a comprehensive lineup of entertainment and activities. Hosts Adam Al-Shami and Rima Karaki guided visitors through the program, creating an engaging Egyptian cultural journey.

Guests were treated to interactive circus performances featuring captivating acrobatic acts that delighted audiences of all ages. The evening also included dynamic musical and artistic presentations that energized the atmosphere and encouraged active audience involvement.

Part of Broader Cultural Exchange Series

Egyptian Cultural Days represents one of multiple cultural celebrations held at Al-Suwaidi Park, forming part of an expansive series showcasing 14 different global cultures. The program is designed to strengthen intercultural awareness and facilitate meaningful exchanges among diverse communities.
